  1. Heard you and your sister at TEDxLACAS, was extremely impressed by what both of you said.

I think you two should start thinking about college. MIT is, in my opinion, the best place you can aim for. It's where the good things are. Start reading blog posts from mitadmissions.org, get to know the awesome MIT culture, make it your dream - and with some work you should be able to make it.

You should also sign-up and follow posts on College Confidential. Each year there is a Pakistan thread where students post decisions and queries. All in all, it is an awesome place to discuss colleges and applications.

It would be an absolute bummer to have you two not going abroad for your studies. And by abroad, I mean MIT.

Although I'm not at MIT or anything, I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you have!

  2. Shahan Shahid,
Thank you so much, I also thought about MIT but now I am sure it would be the right choice in future. great links you gave me, I really really appreciate you taking time out and helping me. Me and my sister just attended http://educationandskillsforum.org/ in Dubai where my sister delivered a speech on the topic of education on 16 March. It was great and over there also someone suggested the same for both of us, so I hope we will make the right decision.

  3. Great to know! But, I'd suggest you should not let college search distract you from what you are doing (following your passion). It can be addictive. Just make it a part of your routine, 20-30 minutes daily should be enough.

There's a lot of great content on the MIT admissions blog. Make sure you read those posts and get a feel for life at MIT. This list is a great place to start: http://mitadmissions.org/blogs/c/best-of-the-blogs
